Alexander William Prins

I discovered photography at age 12 when my grandfather gifted me his vintage Nikkormat SLR. My initial training was in 35mm film black and white darkroom photography and expanded to include color slide film and digital techniques through my studies at California State University Northridge. There, I pursued a degree in film and cinema, further integrating my love for visual storytelling with technical photographic skills.

Currently based in Ventura, I focus on combining my passions for adventure and photography. My work primarily revolves around capturing the dynamic interplay of natural landscapes and extreme sports in Southern and Central California.
